Alex Bailey & Kerri O'Neill, Rapid Reculturing

"Rapid Reculturing offers a timely call to take culture seriously as a strategic system, not a side project. The compelling idea of ‘reculturing’ will stay with readers long after they close the book. The authors bring in multiple ideas and frameworks, but busy leaders should focus on the book’s core message—organizations can and must intentionally reshape culture at pace and scale to succeed in today’s business environment."

"This brave and brilliant book is both very practical and very idealistic. With great nuance and clarity, it details how our current context—where we are—impacts organizations, leaders, and people. With the same nuance and clarity born from deep experience, it lays out a path of rich possibilities IF we organize around our humanness. The path is clear, the challenges huge, and a determining factor is if we as leaders wholeheartedly commit to reculturing our organizations into places where people come alive again."

"As a top level executive coach, I have worked alongside some of the finest leaders, and I have sat in enough boardrooms to know when someone is telling the truth about what is truly going on inside organizations. Alex and Kerri are telling that truth.
I have known both authors for years and have watched them each, in their own distinct ways, refuse to accept the comfortable platitudes that pass for culture thinking in most businesses. That intellectual restlessness is all over this book, and it is what makes it worth your time.
What strikes me most is the honesty of the diagnosis. My one counsel to readers is to resist the urge to skim."

This book by Kerri and Alex makes the case, persuasively and urgently, that culture is now the defining strategic priority. If we fail to invest in it with intention and speed, we risk drifting to a place from which it will be difficult to return. A powerful blueprint for leaders who know culture can’t wait. Alex Bailey and Kerri O'Neill, Rapid Reculturing

"Having spent over 20 years speaking with senior HR and business executives about what it really takes to build healthy, high-performing organizations, this book felt incredibly timely. Rapid Reculturing is a thoughtful and refreshing take on culture, not as a buzzword, but as the real engine behind performance, connection, and long-term success. Alex and Kerri bring both humanity and practical insight to a topic that has never mattered more."

"Rapid Reculturing is for all leaders looking to unlock long term growth & performance. It's clear that AI is rapidly upending our blueprint for business success & with it our established mechanisms of effect; control, scale, consistency & replacing them with those that are deeply human: community, relationships, connected capability. It's no longer power over but more about power with. For Kerri & Alex, Culture is our superpower for organizational success, the fertile ground for how people grow, but to unlock its power we need to reculture & rewild our organizations & restore our natural ecosystems. This is a highly practical guide & toolkit for how to do this & rapidly! They have turned a brilliant concept & made it practical, achievable & most importantly, exciting to do! The future belongs to the brave, are you brave enough?"

"Highly reflective, detailed, insightful analysis and challenging observations. This book could shift organizational thinking about culture – for everyone’s benefit."

"Culture requires leadership. A CEO sets the horizon, sets the tone, and chooses the people. That is the work.
Rapid Reculturing treats this as a real, personal journey—not a formula—and focuses on what actually works. Culture only lives when people follow.
I endorse the work, and recommend you don’t try to treat it as a recipe book but as something to inform you."

"Kerri and Alex elegantly reframe and refresh culture change thinking through the powerful metaphor of rewilding: stop over-engineering, restore the conditions for health, and let the system regenerate.
In an AI-accelerated world—where culture increasingly plays out across a human–non-human continuum —Rapid Reculturing offers brilliantly practical steps to rehumanise the workplace and spark a phoenix-like renewal of energy and connection in our ever more complex world."

"This book, which is academically robust, is written in a voice that makes you want to read on and learn. Through the passion of the authors, it is clear that they want to encourage and lead to reader to seek out their own organizational solution. The style and content reflects not only to the authors’ expertise, but to their commitment to shaping something meaningful, through “reculturing” an organization.
There is clarity of thought, a preparedness to get behind assumptions, and an honesty to set out a “how to” vision with precision and hope. It is not another book about “culture”. By developing their thinking, letting the reader reflect on issues and using the checklists, any organization can move forward.
Their ideas will resonate with readers, open up new conversations & listening, and inspire further exploration. To the Alex and Kerri, congratulations. You have produced a work of real substance and lasting value.
May this book find its way on the desk of CEO’s and their top team and they take time to understand how this fits with the future needs of their organization and its people."
